Starting on June 1, 2024, Margate will offer weekly and seasonal digital beach tags for purchase through the My Beach Mobile app. Physical weekly and seasonal beach tags can also be purchased through the app, but require pick up at the Martin Bloom Pavilion, located at Granville Ave & the beach. What is a Digital Beach Tag?

A digital beach tag or badge is a digital pass. It consists of a unique QR code which is always accessible through the app and will be available immediately for use on your device. With a digital pass, you will be required to show the QR code displayed on your device when requested for the pass to be validated.

Can I still buy physical passes?

Yes. Users can purchase physicals passes either through the app or in person. Physical passes purchased through the app require pick up at the Martin Bloom Pavilion, located at Granville Ave & the beach.

How do I pick up my physical passes if I bought them on the app?

Bring your email receipt to the Martin Bloom Pavilion, located at Granville Ave & the beach during the hours of operation.

Why do I need to animate the QR code?

Animation allows the checker to validate your pass.
